In period from 15.03. to 16.03.2016. Steering Board meeting of ELF project was held in Prague, Czech Republic.
Regular annual Steering Board meeting of ELF project (European Location Framework) was held in Prague, Czech republic in period from 15.03. to 16.03.2016. Main goal of the meeting was to Steering Board make decisions for a project functionality, to present achived results, to stress out problems within the project and to present future steps.
The meeting was opportunity for the new partners on the project including Republic geodetic authority to present their institutions, to better understand rights and obligations and to get acquainted with results and plans within the project.
The Republic Geodetic Authority had became the Project member on February 29th, 2016, by signing the agreement concluded between the European Commission and the Consortium, represented legally by the Norwegian Mapping-Cadastral Administration “Statens Kartverk”.
The ELF is European spatial data platform to provide the users throughout the Europe with an easy access to harmonized spatial data, which is of great importance for the investors, thus promoting the economic development of countries participating.
