Administrators of Swedish donation project IMPULS, funded by SIDA, have participated in a Joint Working Week from 8th till 12th of September. Administrators have visited national cartographic and cadastral agencies in Belgrade, Podgorica, Tirana and Skoplje and held three administrators’ workshops.
First workshop was held at the premises of Republic Geodetic Authority, and participants were welcomed by assistant of director of the Department for ICT M Sasa Djurovic and RGA’s IMPULS project coordinator Dragan Bogdanovic. Workshop was hosted by chief project administrator from Lantmateret, while part about financial aspects of administration was presented by her colleague Helena Bjorklund.
After the workshop project administrators’ were informed about accommodation and conference facilities in Belgrade and Republic Geodetic Authority.
At the premises of Real Estate Authority of Montenegro in Podgorica, team of administrators was received by Authority’s director Dragan Kovacevic and assistant of director Mirjana Ljumovic. They have provided support to team members in organization of meetings with partnering conference centers.
During the short visit to Republic of Albania and Tirana, administrators of IMPULS project have visited conference centers “Protik” and “Tirana International”, while final workshop was held in Skoplje, Republic of Macedonia. In the course of workshop it was discussed minimum standards which accommodation and conference facilities should satisfied, possibilities of using conference premises of each of national agencies for cartography and cadastre in the region and budget was defined for each workshop of working groups. In addition, administration rules were defined and on line registration of documents on the web page of IMPULS project.
It is concluded that workshops, which will be held in all project participating countries, should be in accordance with quality standards and organizationally uniformed. Participants of the workshop in each moment during the workshop realization should have full support of local administrator.
