Director of Republic geodetic authoruty Borko Drašković, together with the directors of cadastral cartographic institutions from the Western Balkan, in the period from 24th to 28th of April 2017 was in a study visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands within the project SPATIAL
Organized by the Dutch Agency for Surveying, Mapping and Land Administration – Cadastral, representatives of cadastral and cartographic institutions of Western Balkan countries in the period from 24th to 28th of April 2017, attended a study visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Through presentations by representatives of Cadastre, they acquainted with the system of cadastre of real estate in the Kingdom of the Netherlands, the system of key civil registry, spatial geodata infrastructure, IT systems, financial planning and financial processes and services in the Dutch Cadastre. In addition, lectures were held on the system of appraisal in the Netherlands, and have been compared to the current situation in the region with Dutch systems of land administration sector.
The Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, through the Matra program, identified the assets of over half a million euros for Donors SPATIAL project which will be implemented in the countries of the Western Balkans. The aim of the projects is to strengthen the professional approach to land information and providing broader access to and harmonization of geospatial data.
The project budget for activities in Serbia is over 200,000 euros, and Dutch experts will, together with colleagues from the RGA working on the development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure, the development model for mass appraisal, increase understanding of the concept of open data, key state registries, the concept of 3D cadastre as well as to improve the capacity, organizational structure and business transformation of RGA.
The project will establish closer cooperation between the Netherlands and Serbia and it will be an initiative of the Dutch contribution to the experts and in other countries in the region with understanding the current institutional framework in the field of land administration.
