A new member of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure Council was appointed

Ljilja Jovanovic, an acting Assistant of Minister of Finence was appointed as a member of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure Council.

The Government of the Republic of Serbia made a decision on the appointment of Ljilja Jovanovic, an Acting Assistant Minister of Finance as a member of the Council of National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) at the meeting held on 31.03.2016. By the same decision Radmila Jagodic is relieved of duties as a member of the Council of National Spatial Data Infrastructure.

According to the Article 166. of the Law on State Survey and Cadastre shall be appointed President and members of the Council of National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI).

NSDI Council was appointed for the first time at the government session held on 21.01.2010 and is consisted of members who are appointed and dismissed by the Government.

The powers of the NSDI Council are defined by Article 167 of the Law on State Survey and Cadastre.

So far nine meetings were held of the NSDI Council.
